Farming has always been a passion of mine! It's been passed down through many generations in my family. I really got the bug for flowers living in Colorado for many years. All those long winters really make you long for colors in your life. After moving to Idaho in 2015 and settling in the beautiful Selle Valley, near Sandpoint Idaho, I finally got to live in a climate that supports my love of flowers!
In 2021 I started Grumpy Chicken Farm U-Pick Flowers. Named after my grumpy chickens, if you know you know lol. We offer U-Pick flowers bouquets from the field, wedding florals, fun farm events and flowers to pick up at the Sandpoint Farmers Market. Once a year we offer farm fresh poultry for your fridge. Our U-Pick Flower Farm is not only a place to pick a brilliant array of colorful blossoms, but also an experience that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From unique events to just relaxing in the flower field. Specializing in dahlias and much more, all our blossoms come in a variety of colors, sizes, and types, ensuring you find the perfect bouquet for your home or event. For weddings, proms, galas, or anniversaries, we’ll be happy to create a custom-designed, one-of-a-kind bouquet that truly represents your vision. It’s our goal to share the beauty of our farm with as many people as possible. Did you know you can stay here at the farm?
